Pure Was The Mind of Christ

I love the words to the old hymn that is one of my all time favorites, “Where He Leads I’ll Follow.” The words are powerful: “pure was the mind of Christ, sinless I see, He the great example is and pattern for me”. Every time I sing these words, “pure was the mind of Christ” I never really comprehend that His mind was pure. So often we struggle with the filth that comes into our hearts and minds from a world that is not pure or holy that we forget that our Savior did overcome, and with His help, guidance, and encouragement, we can overcome, live, grow and mature in Christ. He was the great example and pattern for me. Because of that, I want to give him my very best daily. I want to follow Jesus Every Day!
