Home

Back in Columbus, Kansas. Very tired but happy we got Craig moved and ready to begin his new life on the West Coast.

Denver

I made it to Denver on time. Rough flight over the mountains. Should be in Tulsa around 4:45.

Flying Home

I am leaving Vegas this morning around 9:00 and should be in Tulsa around 4:45. I have a 3 hour layover in Denver. Craig is all moved in and will have next week to get everything in order before he begins work on Monday, November 7. We had a great time. I will miss the little guy. He's excited about his new place and job. Debbie and I will celebrate with him at Thanksgiving.

A Beautiful Evening

After a busy day getting Craig moved in and situated we decided to walk the strip and enjoy a beautiful 75 degree day. We went by the Hermes store at the Vegas City Center. He visited with a couple of the employees he knew from the National Conference.

A Good Morning in Vegas

What better way to start the day.

Vegas Update

We spent all day Thursday moving Craig in to his new apartment in Vegas. We bought a bed, sofa and love seat as well. We made the big Walmart and Sams run and started unpacking. Today, we are looking for a dining room set and locating a couple of churches so Craig can check out on Sunday. Craig lives on the NW side of the city close to Summerlin. A real nice area of town. He will be about 15 minutes to work. The good news, they have a great highway system. So far great weather. Big plus according to Craig they have Sonic and Long John Silvers.

Dinner in Tulsa

Move Westward Young Man

Craig and Dad leaves after school today to move him to Las Vegas, Nevada. It will be a fast trip. We will stop in Tulsa to have dinner with granny and grandad then off to Shamrock, Texas for Tuesday night. We should pull in to the hotel around midnight. I will try to keep all our friends and Facebook friends updated on the move. I hope Craig likes my Barry Manilow and Meatloaf type of music. Something tells me we will be at odds................

Craig Car

Congratulations Craig on your new Chevy Cruze. For the past 4 1/2 years you have enjoyed a life of subways, buses and taxies. Now you can help support the state by paying the gas tax, state taxes and helping the economy. I'm sure it's worth it. No more Singing Cowboys in the subway!

Craig and Family

We had a great time visiting with Brian, Allison, Doreen and Emma yesterday in Garnett. Craig just arrived from NYC so we had a Mexican Fiesta before we headed to Columbus. Allison's college roommate Jenna was also in from Chicago.

Craig Arrives Home

After 4 1/2 years, Craig leaves New York City this morning and begins a new phase of his life. I remember when we left our little boy in the Big Apple at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Debbie and I cried all the way home as we left our 18 year old all alone. We made 4 trips to NYC during his college career. Trips will never forget. Great memories. Thank you God for watching over Craig!
