You never know what might happen in life. You leave for an ordinary weekend trip to move your son in to his apartment at Oklahoma Christian, when you get back the town looks like a war zone after a storm on Friday night.
Bad thing was, Craig was at home during the storm. He called to update us several times on Friday evening. I'm glad God was protecting him during the 70 mph wind gusts and heavy rainfall.
Considerable damage to the community as well as our place. But we will recover.
Storms of life can happen at anytime. We never brace ourselves for the what if? We tread along and then all of a sudden smack! Why are we surprised? I am thankful for a Father that watches down on His children daily. I am very thankful God watched down on Craig.
