Thrifty Drugs Ice Cream Making A Return
If you grew up in California during the 60's and 70's you remember Thrifty Drug Stores. In the store they had ice cream counters. They closed Thrifty Drug Stores in the early 90's. Guess what is making a return? Thrifty Ice Cream Stores on the West Coast. Home of the square dip. Debbie's favorite flavor mango.

Allison's First Marathon
We cheered Allison for 26.2 miles as she completed her first marathon today in Wichita.

Brian graduated with 29 other officers today at the Fort Worth, Texas, Police Academy. Brian was Vice President of the Class. The past 7 months of training paid off in a huge celebration this morning. We had a great Texas BBQ at the in-laws house in Burleson.

The Right Stuff
A true American Hero passes away today. Being a space buff I have read many books on the Apollo space program and Neil Armstrong. 1969 was a year of history. Man landed on the moon. Neil Armstrong is definitely one of the greatest Americans of all time.
