Brian graduated with 29 other officers today at the Fort Worth, Texas, Police Academy. Brian was Vice President of the Class. The past 7 months of training paid off in a huge celebration this morning. We had a great Texas BBQ at the in-laws house in Burleson.

A true American Hero passes away today. Being a space buff I have read many books on the Apollo space program and Neil Armstrong. 1969 was a year of history. Man landed on the moon. Neil Armstrong is definitely one of the greatest Americans of all time.

We had our annual Meet the Titans last night in Columbus. The 2012 football season kicks off Thursday night at home against SE Cherokee. It's the area game of the week. GO TITANS!

Craig at Mt. Charleston outside Las Vegas. A beautiful place to relax and take a break from the hot weather. Debbie and I visited there during Christmas break. Only a 30 minute drive from Craig's place.

I always try to keep my friends up to date on special events and holidays. Monday is National Lemonade Day! One of my favorite places for lemonade (frozen lemonade) is Silver Dollar City.
