CLASS 4A-II Final Kansas State Football Rankings
#1 ANDALE (13-0)
Last: won the 4A-2 state title with a 49-6 win over ColumbusAndale took advantage of four Columbus turnovers in winning the 4A-2 state championship, 49-6. Luke Walstad scored two early touchdowns as the Indians grabbed a 21-6 lead. The Indians then stopped Columbus on fourth down at the Andale 23 and scored on a Walstad pass to Jason Hermreck to lead 28-6. Anthony Capul then blocked a Columbus punt which Hunter Knoblauch returned for a touchdown to make it 35-6 at halftime. Knoblauch finished with 124 yards rushing and a touchdown. Walstad rushed for 72 yards and two scores and passed for 147 yards and two more scores.

Last: fell 49-6 to Andale in the 4A-2 state title gameColumbus ended the best season in school history with a state runner-up finish after falling 49-6 in the 4A-2 state title game. The Titans trailed 21-6 late in the second quarter but couldn't convert a fourth down at the Andale 23-yard line. The Indians scored after then blocked a punt for a touchdown to lead 35-6 at the half. Junior Jace McDown rushed for 103 yards on 21 carries for the Titans, while Nate Bole added 46 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
