A true American Hero passes away today. Being a space buff I have read many books on the Apollo space program and Neil Armstrong. 1969 was a year of history. Man landed on the moon. Neil Armstrong is definitely one of the greatest Americans of all time.

Meet the Titans

We had our annual Meet the Titans last night in Columbus. The 2012 football season kicks off Thursday night at home against SE Cherokee. It's the area game of the week. GO TITANS!

Craig at Mt. Charleston

Craig at Mt. Charleston outside Las Vegas. A beautiful place to relax and take a break from the hot weather. Debbie and I visited there during Christmas break. Only a 30 minute drive from Craig's place.

I always try to keep my friends up to date on special events and holidays. Monday is National Lemonade Day! One of my favorite places for lemonade (frozen lemonade) is Silver Dollar City.

Allison Accepts Teaching Position

Allison interviewed last week in Alvarado, Texas for a teaching position. She was selected and accepted. Only 10 minutes from where Brian and Allison live. Brian graduates from the Fort Worth Police Academy in October. A happy Allison!

31 years ago today at 2:00 p.m. on a hot Saturday afternoon in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, a beautiful young lady became my wife. She is more beautiful today. We have enjoyed each day God has given us. Thank you Debbie for being my best friend. I love you so much. Happy Anniversary!

Nathan's Coney Island

Joey Chestnut Wins 6th Title

Joey Chestnut ate 68 hotdogs to win the Nathan's Hotdog Eating Championship at Coney Island. He also won $10,000. I have enjoyed eating hotdogs there with Debbie and Craig on two different occasions. A fun experience.
