Spring Break
We spent a few days in Las Vegas this week to visit Craig and Charles the Dog then on to Burleson (Fort Worth) to see Brian, Allison, Amelia and Buttons the Dog.

Family Fun at Chicken Annie's
Brian, Allison and Amelia came to Kansas for Spring Break. Mom and dad came up today for some chicken and family fun.

Sub-State Championship Game
The CUHS Lady Titans play Frontenac tonight at 6:00 for a trip to Wichita and the Class 4A Division 2 State Basketball Tournament on Thursday.

The final regular season Class 4A-II State High School Girls Basketball rankings:
1. Hugoton, 2. Baldwin, 3. Thomas More Prep, 4. Pratt, 5. Wichita Trinity Academy, 6. Clay Center, 7. Holton, 8. Columbus, 9. Iola, 10. Concordia
Columbus 15-5 plays Parsons Friday night in round one of sub-state action. Saturday night the winner plays the Frontenac-Baxter Springs winner for the right to play in the Class 4A Division 2 Championship in Wichita next Thursday.
Columbus has four losses to ranked teams. Two losses to #5 ranked 2A Pittsburg Colgan, one to #7 ranked 4A Chanute, and one to #3 ranked 1A St. Paul which they revenged later in the year defeating St. Paul in the Southeast Tournament. The other loss was to Frontenac in league play early in the season. Should be a fun and wild weekend. Go Lady Titans!
